Raw Brownies dusted with Matcha
Ingredients:
1/2 cup walnuts
1/2 cup almonds
1 1/4 cups pitted Medjool dates (soak in warm water for 10 minutes)
1/4 cup hemp hearts
1/2 cup cacao powder
1 heaping t cacao nibs
1/4 tsp sea salt
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp organic matcha powder
Here’s How:
Line a standard loaf pan with parchment and set aside.
Place nuts in food processor and process until finely ground but not to a paste.
Add Cacao, hemp, cinnamon and salt and blend. then place mixture in a bowl and set aside.
Blend the drained dates in food processor. Add back in the cacao mixture and blend.
Add the cacao nibs and pulse slightly until mixed in.
Transfer the mixture onto the parchment paper and press with damp hands until it is smooth and even.
Chill in fridge for an hour.
Slice into squares of your preferred size and just before serving, sift the matcha powder over the cut squares and enjoy.
Store brownies in fridge or freezer and remember to dust before enjoying.
