Greek Style Herb Rub for Chicken, Pork, Beef or Tofu and Tempeh

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 tsp sea salt

  • 2 tsp garlic granules

  • 2 tsp basil

  • 2 tsp oregano

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1 tsp fresh ground pepper

  • 1 tsp rosemary

  • 1 tsp marjoram

  • 1 tsp arrowroot

  • 1/2 tsp thyme

  • 1/4 tsp freshly ground nutmeg

Here’s How:

  1. Place all ingredients in a jar and stir. This will yield about 1/3 cup which can serve 8. See recipe for marinade to start with, then rub herbs on and let sit for up to 8 hours before baking or grilling.
