Frozen Yoghurt Treat

These tasty frozen bites can be dipped in chocolate or mixed with chopped roasted nuts and dark chocolate chips or on their own. Very satisfying, low carb, low calorie after dinner summer treats. Inspired by our beloved sweet Paisley in the shape of her dog bone silicone molds.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 container (quart) European style organic plain nonfat youghurt (can use greek yoghurt but thicker so a bit more challenging to spoon into the mold)

  • 1/3 cup organic allulose (can use organic cane sugar)

  • 1/2 cup chopped roasted walnuts or any nut of your choosing (optional)

  • 1/2 cup chopped dark chocolate or dark chocolate chips (optional)

  • 8 squares of dark chocolate melted (if you want to cover bones in chocolate)

  • silicone mold of your choice

  • freezer

Here’s How:

  1. Mix sweetener into yoghurt and if you want to make plain frozen treats, simply fill mold.

  2. If you want to add roasted nuts and chocolate, mix in and fill molds.

  3. If you want to cover in melted chocolate, (after molded in freezer) use parchment paper and spoon and spread chocolate over bones, place on parchment and freeze before storing.

  4. All of these, will need to be frozen, then remove from mold and store in airtight glass container until ready to eat.
