Hibiscus Echinacea Tea

Use this tea blend as a pain reliever, blood sugar balancer, and general well-being tonic. Sip throughout the day. It tastes delicious!

My dear friend and researcher Richard created this "concoction" that is a panacea: Hibiscus tea alone has many benefits. It can lower cholesterol, it’s a diuretic, suppresses appetite, and lowers blood pressure. Echinacea tea supports the immune system, thus helping prevent colds and flu. And the essential oils add a great many benefits:

  • Tumeric: Supports healthy glucose and lipid metabolism, helps support healthy nervous system and cellular function, has been shown to increase curcumin potency and absorbency.

  • Cloves: Powerful antioxidant properties supports cardiovascular health, helps clean teeth and gums.

  • Ginger: Supports healthy digestion, may help to reduce bloating, gas, and indigestion, may help reduce nausea.

  • Cinnamon: Supports healthy metabolic function, maintains a healthy immune system, naturally repels insects, long used to flavor food and for its internal health benefits.

  • Frankincense: Ingest to support healthy cellular function, aroma promotes feelings of relaxation, helps reduce the appearance of skin imperfections when applied topically, supports healthy immune, nervous, and digestive function when taken internally.

  • Peppermint: When ingested, promotes healthy respiratory function and clear breathing, promotes digestive health when taken internally, repels bugs naturally.

Ingredients:

  • 1 quart filtered water, room temperature

  • 1/2 tsp loose leaf hibiscus tea

  • 12 tsp echinacea flowers, leaves and roots

  • Essential oil liquid drops: a blends of 1 frankincense drop, 1 ginger drop, 1 turmeric drop, 1 clove drop, 2 peppermint drops and 3 cinnamon drops.

Here's How:

1. Place both loose leaf teas into tea diffuser.

2. Let sit so it ferments at room temperature in water for 24 hours.

3. After fermenting, lift diffuser several times to rinse tea from diffuser.

4. Remove and drain diffuser. Save tea in diffuser.

5. Pour tea into glass water bottle.

6. Add 4 drops essential oil blend and shake thoroughly.

7. Eat some of spent tea from infuser, leaving 1/4 of mixture to seed the next batch. (Yes, eat it, if you want. There are lots of healthy microorganisms in the tea leaves.)

8. Add fresh herbs to diffuser.

9. Shake diffuser to mix new and used tea leaves.

10. Lower into quart jar and fill to rim with water.

11. Repeat from step 1

Drink tea a sip at a time throughout the day. As you drink tea from bottle, shake frequently to remix the essential oils.
