Cranberry Vinegar

Cranberries are loaded with anti-oxidants and may help prevent urinary tract infections, support heart health, protect against gastric and stomach ulcers and cancers.

Ingredients:

  • 12 oz fresh cranberries

  • 3/4 cup granulated sweetener (organic sugar, or a mixture of sugar and xylitol or granulated monk fruit or allulose)

  • 3/4 cup filtered water

  • 3/4 cup white vinegar (can use apple cider vinegar too)

  • 1 cinnamon stick

Here’s How:

  1. Place all ingredients in a small heavy sauce pan and bring to boil, stirring until sweetener dissolves.

  2. Reduce heat and simmer for at least 5 minutes and the cranberries pop.

  3. Strain and pour into bottles.

  4. Save the cranberries and enjoy as a cranberry sauce.

This makes a simple and tasty Holiday gift. Grocery Outlet sells small fun bottles at a great price.
